Rena Oil Spill

ReRu supported their own project of documenting the Rena Oil Spill disaster in New Zealand.  They distributed their stories to international wires and NGO’s taking part in the campaign. Although catastrophic disaster was averted the coastal communities and environment are still suffering the aftermath and its a clear signal to New Zealand that oil exploration in the area is to be averted.
